How did you know?

I received an email this morning asking how I knew not to chase the USD/CAD and that it would retrace early in the week to test 1.00. Simple, buy good hardware.

Remember the 1.00 is a strong psychological barrier and likely will hold. At this point simply watch for it to stop going up, look for a peak with low risk and trade.

Definitely a belief in a retest. It has happened. Now what?

Aha... the truth is out. It's (your key hardware) not a magical, mystical but sometimes fogged crystal ball; it's definitely more run of the mill ("pedestrian"). And, the gear is available to all of us at a novelty store. Wonder if this is the same model our "governmental experts" use? Or maybe there's a used model from Alan Greenspan's collection available on e-bay... I'd speculate further but I've got to get to the store... Bill

Isn't it hysterical that the guy that has caused the problems we are dealing with is the most boisterous about what should be done? He must have got the 8 ball after he left his post... or maybe he had the magic 8 ball and that told him to run before the economic slowdown... yeah that is what is going on.

One comment I picked up today (on an un-named cable TV network) is that "the guy" is getting something like $112/minute to make comments and waves (based on his standard speaking fee).

What is an 8 ball?

Margie,

I am sorry your childhood was devoid of such a wonderous soothsaying device such as the Magic 8 ball. Simply ask a question, shake the 8 ball and the cube inside rises to the surface to reveal the correct answer to any question you ask. You should definitely go to Toys R Us or Walmart and pick yourself up one. I hate to tell you, I bought the last Forex related Magic 8 Ball. You will have to settle for the one that says, "Better not tell you now" and "Outlook not so good"
